     Store needles in a dry place away from humidity to avoid mold and ensure continued slipperiness.
   • Improving Thread Slippage:
     Prolonged use may deteriorate the bamboo surface, reducing thread slippage. To restore, apply carnauba wax:
     1. Place the needle on a flat surface.
     2. Rub the solid carnauba wax on the needle surface.
     3. Polish with a dry cloth to enhance gloss and slipperiness.
   • Metal Fittings Maintenance:
     Metal parts (e.g., brass fittings) may discolor over time. Clean with a commercially available penetrating lubricant like WD-40:
     1. Soak a cloth with the lubricant.
     2. Wipe the metal parts carefully, avoiding the bamboo.
     3. If lubricant contacts the bamboo, wipe it off immediately with a dry cloth.
